Daiwa 22 Free Swimmer 8000 Bite'N'Run Spinning Reel [FRSW8000]

The Daiwa 22 Free Swimmer 8000 Bite'N'Run spinning reel is designed for live- and dead-bait fishing in saltwater. Its adjustable rear tension lets fish take a bait under minimal line tension, with a range of settings to suit different bait presentations.

Bite'N'Run control

Use the dial at the bottom of the reel to adjust Bite'N'Run tension. Set lighter tension for unweighted baits and cautious feeders, or increase tension for larger live baits.

Construction and features

• Strong carbon-composite frame.
• Air Rotor with an arched, hollowed-out design to distribute pressure, reduce weight and support rotational balance.
• Rubber seals help protect the reel's internals for saltwater use.
• Automatic Tournament Drag (ATD) uses specialized drag grease and structural design to reduce initial drag start-up inertia for smoother engagement.
• Tough Digigear digitally designed, machine-cut gearing for precision, smoothness and strength.
• Left- or right-hand retrieve.
