Separate Xanigo Marine Vinyl Seat Care Process

The following process uses Xanigo Marine's Mold & Mildew Stain Remover, Mold & Mildew Preventer, and Waterless Wash. These are different products from the Biodegradable Degreaser in this listing.

1. Remove Mold and Mildew

Apply Xanigo Marine Mold & Mildew Stain Remover liberally to the seats. Let it sit for 60–90 seconds without drying; apply more solution as needed to keep it wet. Agitate in a circular motion with a brush to remove mold from the pores, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. The supplied process describes this remover as a harsh chemical to use once for mold removal, followed by the preventer to help prevent recurrence.

2. Neutralize the Remover

After rinsing with fresh water, spray Waterless Wash onto the seats and work it in with a microfiber cloth to neutralize leftover remover so it does not dry out vinyl or affect stitching.

3. Apply Mold and Mildew Preventer

The Mold & Mildew Preventer is described as providing up to 90 days of protection from one application by creating a covalent bond with the surface. It can be applied to almost any marine surface, including vinyl seats, life jackets, canvas, ropes, compartments, live wells, bilges, patio furniture, and other high-moisture areas. 4. Maintain with Waterless Wash
