Minn Kota X7 CHO VX 7" GPS Fishfinder, No Transducer [412420-1VXCHO]

The Minn Kota X7 CHO VX combines a 7-inch touchscreen, keypad controls, internal GPS and included Minn Kota Maps in an expandable fishing display. Customize chart and sonar views, manage waypoints and connect compatible boat-control equipment.

Control head only: no transducer is included. Sonar functions require a compatible accessory transducer, compatible Minn Kota trolling motor with built-in sonar, or supported sonar data shared from a networked Minn Kota or Humminbird fishfinder.

Display and installation

• 7-inch color TFT display, 1024 × 600 resolution and 24-bit color.
• Cross Touch interface with touchscreen and keypad operation, view preset keys and X-Press Menu System.
• Display designed for bright sun, rain and polarized eyewear, with touch response in wet conditions.
• Dimensions with gimbal: 10.689 inches W × 6.574 inches H × 3.177 inches D.
• Dimensions without gimbal: 9.365 inches W × 5.523 inches H × 2.25 inches D.
• HDMI: Not supported.

In-dash installation requires an external GPS antenna for accurate positioning and navigation, sold separately.

These are supported capabilities, not equipment included in the box. Available modes, frequencies and performance depend on the connected sonar source.

• Dual Spectrum CHIRP and Side/Down Imaging support, including listed MEGA frequencies.
• CHIRP modes: Full 150–220 kHz; Narrow 180–240 kHz; Wide 140–200 kHz.
• Supported frequencies: 50/83/200/455/800 kHz, high-wide Dual Spectrum CHIRP and MEGA.
• Imaging frequency ranges: 455 kHz at 440–500 kHz; MEGA at 1075–1150 kHz.
• Listed beam coverage: 20°, 42°, 60° and two 86° beams at -10 dB with applicable equipment.
• X7-specific Down Imaging depths: up to 75 ft at MEGA and 200 ft at 455 kHz.
• Side Imaging range: up to 400 ft total side-to-side at MEGA; 800 ft total side-to-side at 455 kHz.
• Listed 2D depth: 600 ft with the referenced standard transducer, or up to 3,500 ft with optional Airmar CHIRP equipment. Neither transducer is included.
• Optional sonar configurations include 50/83/200 kHz and compatible Airmar High, High Wide, Medium, Medium Wide and Low CHIRP equipment.
• Compatible Live Sonar supports Forward, Down and Landscape modes with separately purchased equipment.
• Screen snapshots and sonar recording supported.
• Speed display, temperature readout and temperature alarm with a suitable data source; temperature graph not supported.

GPS, maps and recording

• Internal GPS receiver with chartplotting and trackplotting.
